Tidiane Touré signs professional contract
FC Schalke 04 have handed full-back Tidiane Touré a professional contract. The 20-year-old, who has been a regular for the club’s U23s this season, has signed a deal valid until 30th June 2028.

Touré made his first-team debut on matchday 29, coming off the bench in the away game in Regensburg. He has since regularly trained with the first team. Touré has played 18 games for the U23s in the Regionalliga West this season, scoring four goals.
“Tidiane Touré’s hard work and commitment in matches and training for Jakob Fimpel’s U23 side brought him into the focus of the first team. His ambition and dedication earned him a deserved first-team debut in Regensburg. We like the fact that he is versatile down the right wing, possesses lots of pace and can play in several different positions. We want to continue working together with him to prepare him for the next challenges in his career. We are pleased that Tidi has chosen to stay at Schalke,” said Youri Mulder, director for professional football.

“Signing my first ever professional contract is a special moment. I would like to thank the club for placing their trust in me. It just shows what is possible when you always try and give your best. I feel right at home here at Schalke after being here for around a year. My move to the Knappenschmiede last summer was the right one. I want to continue working hard on myself and improve my game,” commented Tidiane Touré after signing his contract.
Touré, who was born in Tours in France, holds both German and French citizenship. He joined Holstein Kiel’s academy aged 16 and then moved to 1. FC Köln in summer 2022, going on to play for their U19s and then their U21s.
