Two friendlies during training camp in Mittersill confirmed

FC Schalke 04 will head to Austria once again ahead of the new Bundesliga season. Two friendlies have been arranged to take place during the camp between 26th July and 3rd August in the High Tauern national park.

On Monday 29th July, David Wagner’s side will face Italian side Bologna. Coached by Sinisa Mihaljovic, the side finished 10th in the Serie A last season. Kickoff is at 18:00 CEST in Kitzbühel.

Four days later on Friday 2nd August, the Royal Blues will play Villarreal CF at 18:00 CEST at the Saalfelden Arena in Saalfelden. Javier Calleja’s side finished in 14th place in the Primera Division last season.

A third friendly is being planned, with all relevant information to be announced once confirmed.
