Yevhen Konoplyanka given one-match ban

On Monday 3rd August, Yehven Konoplyanka was handed a one-match ban for Bundesliga games after his red card against Hertha BSC.

The winger was sent off in the fifth minute of added time by referee Sascha Stegemann for a professional foul. From the resulting free-kick, Hertha’s Duda scored his second goal to seal the win for the visitors.

The player and club will not be appealing the decision from the DFB.
