S04’s summer training camp once again to be held in Mittersill

FC Schalke 04 will once again prepare for a new season in Mittersill. This summer will mark the eighth time that the Royal Blues travel to the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern in Austria. This year’s training camp will be held between Monday, 8th July and Sunday, 14th July 2024. The team is due to play two friendlies during this period – details will be announced on schalke04.de and on the club’s social media channels in due course.

Training Camp

There will be a number of activities for fans who travel down to Austria to support the team, especially for families. ERWIN will also be there to sign autographs and to take photos with supporters.

The fan event ‘Blau-Weiße Nacht’ will also be held this year, an evening where the fans can get to know their team better ahead of the new season. The two EURO 2024 semi-finals will also take place while the training camp is on. In cooperation with the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern, there will be a public screening for these matches.

On Friday (05/01), the Belgian arrived at Schalke 04’s training camp in Albufeira together with new CEO Matthias Tillmann in order to greet the players, coaches and staff and introduce himself.

S04 travel to Albufeira for training camp with 31 players

FC Schalke 04’s first-team squad is en route to their winter training camp in the Algarve. Head coach Karel Geraerts’ side will spend nine days preparing for the second half of the season in the 2. Bundesliga in the Portuguese city of Albufeira. A total of 31 players were onboard the plane heading from Düsseldorf towards Faro at 10:30 CET on Tuesday (2/1).
