Football schedule: 2020/21 Bundesliga season begins 18th September
On Friday (10 July), the DFL (Deutsche Fußball Liga) released the schedule for the 2020/21 season. The Bundesliga is set to begin on 18 September. One week before that, the first round of the DFB-Pokal will be played.
From the 18th to the 21st December, the 13th and final league Matchday of the year 2020 will be carried out, followed by the second round of the DFB-Pokal (22nd and 23rd December). Matchday 14 of the Bundesliga falls on the weekend of 2nd to 4th January 2021. The DFB-Pokal final is set for 13 May 2021, the final Bundesliga matchday a week and a half later, on 22 May.
