More than 50,000 fans at the VELTINS-Arena, going up against his former club and the recent birth of his second child – Danny Latza has several reasons to be pumped up for Sunday’s (7/11) home game against SV Darmstadt 98, who Latza played for between 2011 and 2013. “We want to lift the fans and inspire them. The opposition needs to feel straight away that there’s nothing to take away at Schalke.”

DFL announce schedule for matchdays 16-21 – two Saturday night games in Hamburg

The DFL announced the dates and times for matchdays 16 to 21 on Thursday (4/11). During this period, the Royal Blues will play once on a Friday, four times on a Saturday (including three games at 20:30 CET), and once on a Sunday.

Another highlight of the match against Dynamo Dresden came in the 65th minute as Danny Latza made his comeback from injury. The midfielder had been sidelined since suffering a knee injury in the opening match of the season against Hamburger SV.
