On Saturday (19/07), the Royal Blues will face Dutch Eredivisie side FC Twente at the Parkstadion, before travelling to face Westphalian Oberliga club Rot Weiss Ahlen at the Wersestadion the following day. Both matches will kick off at 14:00 CEST.

Steffi Jones appointed to FC Schalke 04 supervisory board

Steffi Jones has been co-opted onto the FC Schalke 04 supervisory board for a term of two years. The former Germany international and national team coach succeeds Youri Mulder, who has taken up the role of director of professional football at the club. Jones becomes the first woman ever to hold a seat on Schalke’s supervisory board. Her co-optation has already been formally approved by the electoral committee, in accordance with the club statutes.

S04 back in Gelsenkirchen to continue pre-season preparations

The Royal Blues started training on Wednesday morning (16/7) ahead of their two friendlies this coming weekend. Miron Muslic’s team arrived back in Gelsenkirchen on Monday (14/7) following their training camp in Austria.
