Schalke to go on winter training camp in Fuente Alamo

Schalke players will begin January 2020 with a training camp in Spain. From Thursday 2nd January through to Thursday 9th,David Wagner’s side will prepare for the second half of the season in Fuente Alamo de Murcia. Schalke players will stay at the Sheraton Hacieda del Alamo Golf and Spa Resort.

Clemens Tönnies returns to official duty

Three months have gone by since he went on leave from his duties at FC Schalke, tomorrow (07/11) he returns as chairman of the board. It is a return that the club's board members gladly welcome.

Amine Harit picked up another award this week as Schalke 04 fans voted him Player of the Month for September. The Moroccan international picked up 61% of the votes as the 22-year-old defended his title from the previous month.

The path is clear for a new challenge: FC Schalke 04 and former head coach Domenico Tedesco mutually agreed to terminate his contract on Monday (14/10). The contract was originally supposed to run until 30th June 2022.

The fans have rewarded Amine Harit’s impressive start to the season by voting the midfielder Schalke’s Player of the Month for August. The Moroccan international received almost half the votes in the poll presented by Hagedorn on schalke04.de.

Jonjoe Kenny wins August Rookie of the Month award

An individual honour for Jonjoe Kenny: the right-back has won August’s Rookie of the Month award, after impressing during his first three Bundesliga matches and topping it all off with a goal against Hertha. The 22-year-old Englishman was up against Wolfsburg’s Xaver Schlager and Augsburg’s Ruben Vargas. The trio were nominated by the DFL (Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH) for their performances during the opening month of the season.

FC Schalke 04 is the first football club to participate in the official opening ceremony of the gamescom. This year, the world's largest event for computer and video games and Europe's largest business platform for the games industry will be ceremoniously opened by State Minister for Digitization Dorothee Bär and Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure Andreas Scheuer.

Reflections on Schalke's USA National Camp

This summer, coaches from the FC Schalke 04 youth academy, the Knappenschmiede, travelled around the United States running clinics for youth clubs in official cooperation with the Knappenschmiede International Program, through Global Image Sports. Following these clinics, the coaches were tasked with selecting the best players to attend the 2019 FC Schalke 04 National Camp held near Atlanta, Georgia.
