The 32 first-round ties were drawn on Saturday (06/06) by Deniz Aytekin, who recently brought an end to his impressive refereeing career, at the German Football Museum.

30 first-round fixtures will take place between 21st and 24th August. Two further ties will be played on 1st and 2nd September, involving the two Franz Beckenbauer Supercup finalists, with German champions Bayern München and runners-up Borussia Dortmund set to face each other on 22nd August.

The DFB will announce the exact dates for the first round in the coming weeks.
