S04 to face FC Gütersloh in pre-season friendly

As part of their preparations ahead of the 2026/27 season, FC Schalke 04 will face FC Gütersloh in a friendly. The match will take place at the Ohlendorf Stadion im Heidewald on 11th July at 14:00 CEST.

Gütersloh ended last season in fourth place in the Regionalliga West, while their stadium has a total capacity of 12,500.

The friendly has been made possible thanks to the support of Hagedorn, who have been a partner of FC Schalke 04 since 2019. Hagedorn are Germany’s leading full-service provider in the fields of demolition, waste disposal, civil engineering and site regeneration, and are headquartered in Gütersloh. Hagedorn are also a sponsor of the hosts, and will be sponsoring a stream of the match as part of their sponsorship activities at Schalke.

Managing partner Thomas Hagedorn is looking forward to the match, as his two favourite clubs are set to face each other.
