The legendary adidas Samba in Schalke colours

A true classic has been given a royal-blue update. The Samba’s famous three stripes come in navy, finished with royal-blue trim, while the historic S04 badge on the tongue adds a distinctive Schalke touch.

The badge has long been one of the defining symbols of Schalke’s history, representing the club’s tradition and identity as well as countless unforgettable moments. It now takes centre stage once again on the S04 edition of the adidas Samba, marking the beginning of a new chapter. The result brings together Schalke heritage and contemporary streetwear in a timeless shoe that is equally at home on matchday and in everyday life.

The finishing touches continue across both shoes. ‘Schalke 04’ appears on the left, while the right features the Samba’s iconic lettering.

The S04 Samba is available now for €119.95 from shop.schalke04.de/en and all S04 fan shops.

Chapter 1, ‘More than a classic. A badge returns.’, is only the beginning. Chapter 2, ‘The story we continue to write.’, will follow on 6th August.

It will make its first appearance on the pitch in Sunday’s (19/7) friendly against FC Erzgebirge Aue.

Created together with adidas and 11teamsports, the vibrant green shirt is designed to make a statement on the road, with royal-blue and white accents completing the look. From training ground to vibrant meeting place: FC Schalke 04 is transforming Berger Feld into an open community space for supporters, local residents and visitors alike. The first visible step in this initiative is the start of construction work on a new experience centre located close to the VELTINS-Arena and Auf Schalke eG tower. At a site visit on Wednesday (24/6), FC Schalke 04 CEO Matthias Tillmann and Sebastian Buntkirchen, director of fan culture and responsible for brand and fan experience, presented the club’s strategic ‘Schalke Experience’ project as well as plans for the long-term development of the space.
