S04 announce friendly versus SC Verl

The Royal Blues have confirmed another preseason friendly as part of preparations for the 2020/21 season. Schalke will face SC Verl on Saturday, 15th August. Verl finished the 2019/20 season by winning promotion to the 3. Liga, beating Lokomotive Leipzig in the promotion playoff at the end of June.

An exact location and time for the match has yet to be announced, with the club to share this information in due time. The same goes for information surrounding admission of spectators. Due to the unpredictability of the Coronavirus pandemic, a decision in this regard will be made at a later date. All preseason friendlies will also be available to watch via a free live stream.
