Three Royal Blues on international duty

Three FC Schalke 04 players are set to jet off for the international break, namely Max Grüger and Taylan Bulut (both Germany youth internationals), as well as Ibrahima Cissé (Mali).

Max Grüger has been called-up to the Germany U20 squad, who have two fixtures scheduled during the international break. The young Germans firstly travel to face England on Friday (15/11), before another away match awaits in Türkiye on the following Tuesday (19/11).

Taylan Bulut will be in action three times with the Germany U19s as part of their European Championship qualifying campaign. The fixtures are set to take place in a four-team tournament format, held in Andorra. The Germans’ first opponents are the hosts on Tuesday (12/11), before Cyprus are to come on Friday (15/11), followed by Hungary next Monday (18/11).

Ibrahima Cissé has received a call-up to the Mali national team. The Royal Blues’ centre-back is preparing to feature twice with his nation in AFCON qualification. Mali travel for an away clash in Mozambique on Friday (15/11), before hosting second opponents Eswatini next Tuesday (19/11).
