Steve Noode moves on loan to SCR Altach
Defender Steve Noode has joined Austrian top-flight side SCR Altach on loan, initially until the end of the season. Should Altach avoid relegation in the Austrian Bundesliga, the deal will automatically extend by a further year. FC Schalke 04 would then have the option to terminate the loan move during the winter break of the 2025/26 season and recall Noode.
“Steve has settled in nicely both on and off the pitch at Schalke in recent months. As he isn’t eligible to play for our U23s in the fourth division, we want this loan move to give him minutes in a good league in Europe,” said Ben Manga, director for squad planning, scouting and the Knappenschmiede. “We will closely follow Steve’s development. We wish him all the best for his time in Altach.”

Noode arrived at Schalke last summer from the A.S. International Football Académie, where he was at for three years. He started training with SCR Altach at the start of this year and impressed on trial in a 1-0 friendly win over SSV Ulm. The Cameroonian defender is under contract at FC Schalke 04 until 30th June 2029.
