Amin Younes back in parts of team training

Due to the high temperatures in Gelsenkirchen – it’s expected to be over 30 degrees this afternoon – the Royal Blues began their preparations for Saturday’s DFB-Pokal game at VfR Aalen early on Monday morning (12/8). Amin Younes was able to complete parts of the session after only working individually recently following a knee strain.

Team

Paul Seguin, who wasn’t able to feature on Saturday (10/8) against 1. FC Nürnberg, also took part in parts of the session. Tomas Kalas began his recovery work at the end of last week following an inflamed patellar tendon. It’s not yet clear when the centre-back will return to full training. Aris Bayindir, Bryan Lasme and Lino Tempelmann are still continuing their rehabilitation programmes.
