Exciting visit to Schalke's VELTINS-Arena: Eight Indian media associates from the country's biggest sports media houses visited the Royal Blues' first home match of the season against Bayern Munich (24/8). Their Germany trip took them to Gelsenkirchen and Cologne.

FC Schalke 04 is the first football club to participate in the official opening ceremony of the gamescom. This year, the world's largest event for computer and video games and Europe's largest business platform for the games industry will be ceremoniously opened by State Minister for Digitization Dorothee Bär and Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure Andreas Scheuer.

Reflections on Schalke's USA National Camp

This summer, coaches from the FC Schalke 04 youth academy, the Knappenschmiede, travelled around the United States running clinics for youth clubs in official cooperation with the Knappenschmiede International Program, through Global Image Sports. Following these clinics, the coaches were tasked with selecting the best players to attend the 2019 FC Schalke 04 National Camp held near Atlanta, Georgia.

From August 14th to 18th the delegation around FIFA professional Tim "Tim Latka" Schwartmann will be visiting the East Chinese metropolis Shanghai.

“Soccer in the Streets”: Knappenschmiede coaches wrap up US tour in Atlanta

Last weekend Schalke’s Knappenschmiede coaches traveled to Atlanta, GA, to train with “Soccer in the Streets”, a non-profit organization that makes the game of soccer more accessible for inner city youth in Atlanta. The royal blue coaches wrapped up their stay in the U.S. with a day of clinics and activities on August 3rd with 30 players from “Soccer in the Streets”.

100,000 fans attend Royal Blue family day

Around 100,000 fans attended the annual Schalke Day on Sunday 11/08 ahead of the 2019/2020 season. The team received a very warm reception having eased into the second round of the DFB Pokal the day before with a 5-0 victory over SV Drochtersen/Assel.

The final kit for the 2019/20 season is now out. FC Schalke 04 and kit manufacturer Umbro released the new third kit on Schalke day. The shirt is available to buy in all fan shops and on online at store.schalke04.de.

After nine intensive days training in the Austrian alpine town of Mittersill, the Royal Blues few back to Gelsenkirchen on Saturday evening.
