Kevin Müller back in team training, Edin Džeko on international duty
On Wednesday (30/9), FC Schalke 04 began preparations for the friendly against Austrian top-division side Austria Lustenau. Goalkeeper Kevin Müller is back in training after recovering from an infection.
S04’s first team, with the exception of the goalkeepers, underwent individual performance assessments in Herne on Tuesday afternoon (29/09), while shot-stoppers Loris Karius, Kevin Müller and Max Weiland completed a training session with goalkeeping coach Volkan Ünlü at Berger Feld.
Edin Džeko remains on international duty, where he and Schalke teammate Nikola Katic are preparing for their last game of the international break against Sweden. The match will take place on Friday (2/10) at 20:45 CEST in Zenica.
Timo Becker is still completing individual training sessions due to an ankle injury. Dejan Ljubičić remains in rehabilitation training following the knee injury he picked up during the away game at 1. Union Berlin.
