Like the old days, made for today: S04 unveil new away shirt

More than a shirt. The story we continue to write. On the road in the Bundesliga, FC Schalke 04 will be donning a retro style during the 2026/27 season. Together with adidas and 11teamsports, the Royal Blues have unveiled a white shirt featuring a timeless design. The historic S04 crest and navy detailing combine with the iconic adidas Trefoil to give the shirt its unmistakable character.

For the first time since the 1993/94 season, Schalke will take to the pitch in an adidas Originals shirt. A contrasting polo collar, navy sleeve cuffs and the iconic adidas stripes on the shoulders complete the authentic retro look.

The historic S04 crest takes centre stage. One of the defining symbols of Schalke’s history, it now returns to the players’ shirts. The adidas Trefoil is also embroidered on the right side of the chest.  Curved ‘Schalke’ printing and matching retro-style squad numbers complete the look on the back, bringing tradition and the present day together in every detail.

The sponsor logos also fit seamlessly into the overall design. Main sponsor BEUMER features in the centre of the shirt, while BLÅKLÄDER appears in navy on the left sleeve. Navy shorts and white socks complete the away kit.

Available now online and in the S04 fan shops

The new away shirt is available now from shop.schalke04.de and at all S04 fan shops. Adult sizes S to XXXL are priced at €99.95. The children’s version is already available online in sizes 128 to 176 for €74.95 and will be arriving in the S04 fan shops shortly.

Also new is the burgundy goalkeeper shirt, featuring a subtle glossy pattern on the front. Black side panels and sleeves provide further contrast. The shirt can also be personalised with white retro-style name and number printing. The children’s version is available exclusively as a long-sleeved shirt. The goalkeeper shirt can already be ordered online, with deliveries due to begin in the coming weeks.

Chapter two, ‘More than a shirt. The story we continue to write,’ is not the end. Chapter three, ‘The story we wear,’ will follow later in August for all S04 supporters.

Our home. Our home shirt. FC Schalke 04’s kit for the 2026/27 season celebrates the 25th anniversary of the VELTINS-Arena. Created together with adidas and 11teamsports, the royal-blue and navy shirt features an abstract pattern inspired by the roof structure of Schalke’s home, finished with white and light-blue detailing. It will make its first appearance on the pitch in Sunday’s (19/7) friendly against FC Erzgebirge Aue.

Created together with adidas and 11teamsports, the vibrant green shirt is designed to make a statement on the road, with royal-blue and white accents completing the look. It will make its first appearance on the pitch in Saturday’s (11/7) opening pre-season friendly away to FC Gütersloh.
