S04 duo substituted on during Mali defeat

Moussa Sylla and Ibrahima Cissé suffered a narrow defeat while on duty with the Mali national team on Thursday (5/6). In the end, the full-time whistle blew on a 1-0 victory for DR Congo in the French city of Orléans.

Both Schalke players were brought on during proceedings, with the only goal of the game at the Stade de la Source scored by FC Augsburg’s Samuel Essende on 27 minutes. The match was the only scheduled for Mali over the course of the current international window.
