Mika Wallentowitz called up for U19 European Championship

Germany coach Christian Wörns has named Mika Wallentowitz in his squad for the upcoming U19 European Championship. Germany will face Denmark (28/6, 21:00 CEST), hosts Wales (1/7, 21:00 CEST) and Spain (4/7, 15:00 CEST) in Group A.

The top two teams from each of the two four-team groups will qualify for the semi-finals. The final will be played on 11th July. The tournament also serves as qualification for the 2027 U20 World Cup in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

Wallentowitz, who signed a professional contract at Schalke a few weeks ago, has so far made four appearances for Germany U19s.
