Darko Churlinov and Yusuf Kabadayi to leave S04 following the end of their loan spells

Following the end of his season-long loan at FC Schalke 04, Yusuf Kabadayi will return to FC Bayern München. Darko Churlinov, who joined the Royal Blues on loan in January 2024, will return to Burnley FC.

Five Royal Blues called up for first international break of 2024

The first international break of 2024 starts this week. Two Schalke players – Darko Churlinov and Blendi Idrizi – have been included in their countries’ senior squads. Ibrahima Cissé has been called up for Mali U23s, who are preparing for the Olympic Games, while Yusuf Kabadayi and Keke Topp are in the Germany U20 squad.

Darko Churlinov played a direct role in FC Schalke 04’s winning goal against Wehen Wiesbaden on Saturday (17/02). FC Schalke 04 have signed Darko Churlinov on loan from Burnley until the end of the 2023/24 season. The Royal Blues have also agreed a buy option to secure the creative and versatile attacker on a long-term basis.
