Second round of Covid-19 testing finds no further infections

Good news from Längenfeld, as the second round of Covid-19 testing has found no further infections in the Schalke setup. Schalke had carried out more tests after a member of the training camp setup had tested positive. That person has been in self-isolation since Sunday (23/8) without symptoms.


Preseason programme: Gelsenkirchen, Herzlake and Austria

FC Schalke 04 have determined the key details regarding their preseason training programme ahead of 2020/21. In total, David Wagner's team will complete two training camps and play eight friendlies in order to best prepare for the new Bundesliga campaign. On Monday, 3 August, training will commence in Gelsenkirchen.

Foundations are in place – focus turns to first competitive match of the season

After nine intensive days training in the Austrian alpine town of Mittersill, the Royal Blues few back to Gelsenkirchen on Saturday evening. Schalke head coach David Wagner gave a positive summary following the end of the pre-season training camp but turned his attentions to the forthcoming final days of pre-season back on home soil.


Hard work ahead in Austria – S04 travel to Mittersill

The Royal Blues start the final part of their pre-season with a nine-day training camp in Mittersill, Austria. The camp will look to build further foundations and work on implementing various playing concepts ahead of the start of the competitive season in just two weeks’ time.


Short training camp and friendly against Norwich City

The Royal Blues have added to their pre-season plans: head coach David Wagner’s side will take part in a short training camp in Herzlake from Tuesday 16th July to Friday 19th July.


Training camp in Mittersill, three friendlies in Ruhr Valley

Schalke will start with a clean slate on 1st July. David Wagner will take charge of his first training session as head coach of FC Schalke 04 (time TBA).


26 players travel to training camp in Spain

The Royal Blues are on their way to Benidorm. FC Schalke 04 will make their preparations for a big second half of the season there until 12th January. The squad consists of 26 players alongside new face Seppo Eickhorn, who will immediately strengthen the coaching staff.


Schalke 04 to hold training camp in Benidorm from 4/1/2019 – 12/1/2019

For the third time in a row, the Royal Blues are heading to Costa Blanca to kick off the new year. From Friday 4th until Saturday 12th January 2019, the FC Schalke 04 squad will hold their training camp in Benidorm, Spain. Head coach Domenico Tedesco’s team will again be staying in the Melia Villaitana hotel complex.

S04 travel to training camp with 28 players

The Royal Blues travelled to their training camp on Sunday (29/07). FC Schalke 04 will make a stop on their way to the holiday region of the Upper Tauern National Park and will face Domenico Tedesco’s former club FC Erzgebirge Aue at 15:00 CET. The team will then travel on to the Austrian town of Mittersill.


Starting the New Year in top conditions

One day after travelling to their training camp in Benidorm, Schalke have got the ball rolling for the year 2018 and began their work on Tuesday, 2 January.


27 Schalke players travel to Benidorm for training camp

The short winter break is over for FC Schalke 04. From now, a lot of hard work is on the cards as the team tries to lay the foundations for a successful second half of the Bundesliga season. The training camp will run until 7th January in the Spanish resort of Benidorm.
