Bryan Lasme back in team training as preparations begin for Union Berlin

Preparations for the upcoming fixture at Union Berlin got underway on Tuesday (8/9) with a training session open to the fans.

There’s positive news regarding Bryan Lasme. The attacker is back in team training following his muscular injury.

Adrian Gantenbein, who suffered an injury to his right ankle in a friendly against Fagiano Okayama during a training camp in Austria, is also back. The Swiss defender made a full return to team training at the end of last week.

Despite being in full training, Ron Schallenberg won’t be an option for Miron Muslic for Friday’s game (11/9, 20:30 CEST). The midfielder will miss out on the trip to the capital due to his red card in the opening fixture against Augsburg.

Christian Gomis will spend the season on loan at Spanish second-tier side CD Tenerife in search of more regular game time. The 26-year-old attacker made 19 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga last season, scoring once and providing one assist, as FC Schalke 04 won promotion back to the Bundesliga. Schalke have agreed a loan deal with CD Tenerife until 30th June 2027, which includes an option to buy.

Schalke 04 and Aris Bayindir terminate contract by mutual consent

FC Schalke 04 and Aris Bayindir have mutually agreed to terminate his contract with immediate effect after two years at the club. The 19-year-old attacking midfielder joined Schalke from RB Leipzig’s U19s in summer 2024.
