Second round of Covid-19 testing finds no further infections

Good news from Längenfeld, as the second round of Covid-19 testing has found no further infections in the Schalke setup. Schalke had carried out more tests after a member of the training camp setup had tested positive. That person has been in self-isolation since Sunday (23/8) without symptoms.

No further Covid-19 cases after the first round of testing

Following a positive Covid-19 test in the first-team squad yesterday, FC Schalke 04 have taken all necessary precautions to protect against further infections. The infected individual and the people who came into contact with them went into self-isolation, while the first of three additional rounds of testing has been carried out.

S04 announce friendly versus SC Verl

The Royal Blues have confirmed another preseason friendly as part of preparations for the 2020/21 season. Schalke will face SC Verl on Saturday, 15th August. Verl finished the 2019/20 season by winning promotion to the 3. Liga, beating Lokomotive Leipzig in the promotion playoff at the end of June.
