Royal Blues visit Great Wall of China

Following several intense days of training, the friendly against Southampton and a 1300 km journey from Kunshan to Beijing, the Schalke players were given a day off as they put their boots aside. Instead of a training session, head coach Domenico Tedesco organised a fascinating day out for the players and staff.

Schalke and Umbro reveal new away kit in China

Kick-off for and with Umbro: the first of the three new kits will be released just in time for the start of the new partnership between FC Schalke 04 and its new kit supplier, Umbro. The “Knappen”, the nickname for FC Schalke 04’s football team, will wear the new away kit during the test match against Southampton FC in China on Thursday, 5 July.

FC Schalke 04 to travel to China in July for a third time

“The Spirit of Miners. The Soul of Football.”: That is the motto that the Schalke 04 first team will travel to the Middle Kingdom with between the 2nd and 12th July 2018. The club will spend the first few days of their trip in Kunshan before moving on to the country’s capital Beijing, where they will stay for the majority of their time in China.
