S04 and vivenu: New Ticket Shop Offers Numerous Advantages

In addition to an extensive optimisation of the layout and navigation, S04 supporters can look forward to an absolutely unique selling point: vivenu is the only ticket solution partner worldwide to offer live seating. It already shows which tickets are currently being sold during the booking process. This leads to the avoidance of unnecessary clicks. But the new S04 ticket shop can do even more: In addition to regular sales, requests for home games or away tickets are possible there, among other things. Fans also benefit from a seat selection optimised for mobile use. Furthermore, additional forms of payment have been implemented, so that in addition to the options that can already be used, Apple & Google Pay as well as PayPal will also be available as payment options. Another plus: From now on, royal blue fans can save their tickets immediately after purchase, pass them on or reprint them in case of loss. In addition, the new shop offers the wallet integration function, which allows mobile ticket buyers to access their tickets directly on their smartphones.

Dr Bernd Schröder, Chairman of the Board of FC Schalke 04: „Our goal is always to meet the interests and needs of our supporters. We have implemented these with the new shop. From now on, advantages such as live seating or wallet integration offer our fans an optimal shopping experience as well as simplified and mobile handling of their tickets.“ Schröder emphasises: „With vivenu, we have a technically competent, innovative partner at our side who is constantly developing and has a feel for the special features of ticket sales in football.“

Before the new shop went live, its performance was thoroughly tested over several weeks. FC Schalke 04 also enjoyed the active support of members of the Schalke Fan Club Association. Any need for optimisation was reported via the new feedback button. This allows all users to provide direct feedback on their visit to the ticket shop.

Advance sales for day tickets for the first three home matches will begin in mid-July. The sale of the other 14 matches will follow shortly afterwards. As usual, there will again be a members‘ and an open advance sale. The club will provide information on the exact date in good time.

In future, the S04 ticket shop will be consistently developed and improved. The new benefits will then include the administration of season tickets, the booking of kids camps as well as the reimplementation of away and fan club requests and the ordering of VIP and parking tickets.
