Benjamin Stambouli new vice-captain

After Naldo’s departure to AS Monaco, Benjamin Stambouli will take on his role as vice-captain, revealed Domenico Tedesco on Friday.

Bastian Oczipka has also joined the five-man players’ council, along with captain Ralf Fährmann, Benjamin Stambouli, Guido Burgstaller and Daniel Caligiuri.

The coach also revealed that Schalke youth players Philip Fontein, Benjamin Goller, Haji Wright (all U23) and Ahmed Kutucu (U19) will train with the first team from now on.
