Preparations continue ahead of Bundesliga opener in Augsburg

Kenan Karaman completed an individual session on Thursday (27/8), while the rest of the team took part in a public training session. A decision on whether the captain will be able to feature against FC Augsburg this Sunday (30/8) will be made over the coming days.

Dylan Leonard was able to complete parts of team training after recovering from a knock he suffered in training last week. Adrian Gantenbein and Bryan Lasme also worked individually on Thursday.

Kenan Karaman to miss cup game in Halle

Kenan Karaman will be unavailable for Schalke 04’s DFB-Pokal game away to Hallescher FC next Monday. The captain suffered a heavy fall on his hip in the friendly against Atalanta (8/8), and fluid has since built up around the affected area.
