The former Royal Blue will step back from his current position on the club's supervisory board in order to take up this new role. The Royal Blues have announced a new head coach as the international break begins, with Kees van Wonderen taking over as head coach of FC Schalke 04 with immediate effect. The 55-year-old has signed a contract until the summer of 2026 and will get underway with a first training session on Monday (7/10). He will be supported by Robert Molenaar, who joins the existing coaching staff.
