FC Schalke are adding more strength to the back-line. 28-year-old Cedric Brunner, who played for Arminia Bielefeld last season, has signed a contract with Schalke 04 until the end of the 2023/24 season. He will wear the number 27.

Beniamino Molinari has joined Schalke 04 as an assistant coach to complete Frank Kramer’s coaching staff. Molinari will work alongside Mike Büskens, Matthias Kreutzer and Simon Henzler, who are already on the team. It is a return to Germany for the 42-year-old, who most recently worked as an assistant coach alongside Alexander Zorniger at Apollon Limassol FC in Cyprus.
