Guido Burgstaller joins FC St. Pauli

Guido Burgstaller has completed a move to FC St. Pauli. The Austrian’s contract with FC Schalke 04 was set to run until 30th June 2022. Both clubs have agreed to not disclose the terms of the transfer.

Guido Burgstaller retires from international football

After seven-and-a-half years with the Austria national team, Guido Burgstaller has decided to call time on his international career with immediate effect. From now on, the 30-year-old wants to focus solely on his club career with FC Schalke 04.
