After a controversial red card for Ron Schallenberg in injury time of the first half, 1. FC Nürnberg turned the game around after the interval thanks to goals from Lukas Schleimer (47’), Caspar Jander (56’) and Rafael Lubach (76’).

FC Schalke 04 beat Eintracht Braunschweig 5-1 on Saturday night (3/8) at the VELTINS-Arena. Moussa Sylla and Kenan Karaman both scored twice on matchday 1 after Tobias Mohr had opened the scoring.
