Simon Terodde: Anticipate those situations and be in the right place

It was the type of goal that Simon Terodde has scored so often in his career. In the 40th minute, Schalke’s number 9 found himself in the perfect position for any centre forward. Tobias Mohr whipped in a dangerous cross, which Terodde let run through to Kenan Karaman. FC Twente’s Gijs Smal couldn’t get the desired connection on his clearance and the ball fell into the path of the skipper, who smashed it past Lars Unnerstall from close range.
