EU LCS: Week 9, final week of the Spring Split

Luck is now on their side; the Schalke League of Legends team could realise their dream of reaching the playoffs with a successful final week. After some mediocre weeks, everything is now up for grabs. The Knappen face H2K on Friday 16th March and Fnatic on Saturday 17th March.

The battle for a place in the playoffs goes on; two strong opponents and challenging games await strategic coach André Guilhoto’s Schalke team in the eighth week of the EU LCS. The Knappen take to the stage to compete for vital points on Friday and Saturday.

FC Schalke 04 Esports vs. H2K

The Schalke team face H2K on Friday evening. It promises to be a special game for both teams as four former Schalke players now play for H2K. SmittyJ, Selfie, Promisq and Ceadrel all used to represent the Royal Blues.

This weekend means exactly as much for H2K as it does for Schalke’s players. They are currently at the bottom end of the table and can only make the playoffs if they win both their games at the weekend and other results also go in their favour.

FC Schalke 04 Esports vs. Fnatic

Strategic coach André Guilhoto’s team have to play leaders and favourites Fnatic on Saturday. Their unique style has proven effective in previous games and the team have shown again and again why they are one of the best teams in Europe during the Spring Split. It will be a tough game for Schalke, who desperately need to win to secure a place in the coveted playoffs.
