Defender Martin Wasinski is a Royal Blue

Young centre-back Martin Wasinski signed a contract valid until 30th June 2028 on Friday (21/6) at FC Schalke 04. The 20-year-old Belgian previously played for Sporting Charleroi and KV Kortrijk in the Belgian top flight.

Stephan Loboué and Sidney Sam join S04 coaching team

There will be fresh faces in the Schalke dugout from next season, with Stephan Loboué and Sidney Sam becoming a part of Karel Geraerts' backroom staff. Loboué will take over the role of first team goalkeeping coach, while Sam will act as one of S04’s pitchside assistant coaches. Current assistant coach Tim Smolders, as well as fitness coach Alexander Stork, will continue as part of the coaching team.
