Tobias Mohr made his comeback from injury on Saturday (25/1), playing a key part in Schalke’s 3-1 win against 1. FC Nürnberg. The 29-year-old provided two assists and served for constant danger on the left flank, together with Anton Donkor, who also contributed an assist.

Tobias Mohr has already registered four goal contributions in only three matches so far this season. After bagging in FC Schalke 04’s first game of the season against Eintracht Braunschweig and setting up Ibrahima Cissé's opener in the defeat to Nürnberg, the midfielder added another goal and assist to his tally in the Royal Blues’ win over VfR Aalen.

Tobias Mohr: From the outside looking in it's maybe a bit unusual, but it’s nothing new to me

Assist from Derry John Murkin, finish from Tobias Mohr: A combination which led to the opening goal against SV Wehen Wiesbaden and was also successful on Friday (8/9) in the friendly against SSV Ulm 1846 Fußball. “It would be nice if continued in the coming weeks,” said the goalscorer, but the 28-year-old is aware that the game against the Drittliga side was just a friendly. Still, he suggests that a 4-2 win following three winless games in a row is important – even if it hasn’t given the team three points in the table.
