3-0 defeat in Frankfurt despite a solid performance

Despite a good display for large parts of the game, FC Schalke 04 were beaten 3-0 away at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday afternoon (21/1). The Royal Blues failed to take their good chances in both halves and were punished for it. Jesper Lindström (22’), Rafael Borré (84’) and Aurelio Buta (90’) got the goals for the hosts.

Soichiro Kozuki’s footballing story sounds a bit like a fairytale. Almost one year ago, the then 21-year-old made the move from the Japanese second tier club Kyoto Sanga, to FC Düren in the Mittelrheinliga. Dates for the 2023/24 season outlined

The German Football Association’s (DFB) presidential committee outlined the key dates for the 2022/23 season on Friday afternoon. The new Bundesliga season will begin on the weekend of 18th to 20th August, with the 2. Bundesliga starting three weeks earlier on 28th July.

The Royal Blues have been preparing for the remaining 19 league games since last week in Gelsenkirchen. Schedule announced for matchdays 20 to 25 – Revierderby on a Saturday night

The DFL published the schedule for matchdays 20 to 25 on Tuesday (15/11). The Revierderby against BVB is on a Saturday night, as is the home game against VfB Stuttgart. S04 will also play on a Saturday afternoon twice, plus once on a Friday and a Sunday respectively.
