Tom Krauß joins Schalke on loan

Most recently in the shirt of our friends, 1. FC Nürnberg, Tom Krauß has swapped red for Royal Blue. The German U21 international, who has been on loan to FCN from RB Leipzig for the last two seasons, has joined FC Schalke 04. The midfielder will wear shirt number 6.

A Schalke youth product is leaving the club. Timo Becker will join Holstein Kiel on a permanent basis ahead of the new season. The 25-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the second division side. Further details on the transfer will not be disclosed.

In the Royal Blue for the future: Schalke 04 have renewed the loan of Dong-gyeong Lee from South Korean side Ulsan Hyundai. Goalkeeper Justin Heekeren joins S04

FC Schalke 04 have signed a young talent from the local Regionalliga West, with Justin Heekeren arriving at the Royal Blues from Rot-Weiß Oberhausen. The 21-year-old goalkeeper has agreed a contract at FC Schalke 04 until the end of the 2024/25 season, with a clause for it to be extended by a further year if certain conditions are met. Heekeren will wear the number 28 for the Knappen. The transfer details remain undisclosed.

Florent Mollet joins FC Schalke 04

The Royal Blues have completed the signing of Florent Mollet, a 30-year-old central midfielder from Montpellier, who finished 13th in Ligue 1 last season. Mollet has put pen to paper on a deal valid until the end of the 2024/25 season. Both clubs have agreed to keep the transfer details undisclosed and the move is still subject to the completion of regulatory processes.

Tobias Mohr is a Royal Blue

After Thomas Ouwejan last summer, the Royal Blues have secured a another signing for the left-hand flank. 26-year-old Tobias Mohr joins Schalke 04 from Heidenheim. Mohr has signed a contract until 30th June 2025 with the club and will wear the number 29 shirt. Involved parties have agreed not to disclose any further details.

FC Schalke 04 have announced their new head coach for next season. Frank Kramer signed a two-year contract on Tuesday (7/6) and will be presented to the media in a press conference at the VELTINS-Arena at 14:00 CEST. Sporting director Rouven Schröder and board member Peter Knäbel will also be present.

FC Schalke 04 have signed Thomas Ouwejan on a permanent deal. The Dutch full-back has put pen to paper a contract running until the end of the 2023/24 season. The 25-year-old joined the Royal Blues on loan from AZ Alkmaar last summer and will become a permanent member of the squad from 1st July 2022.
