Guido Burgstaller: Hungry for the ball

David Wagner was quick to talk about his “lactic-acid junkies” after the Leipzig match. The head coach was keen to find out how far his team had run during the game, and for a good reason: the Royal Blues covered a whopping 124.4 km over the course of the 90 minutes – two kilometres more than RB Leipzig. Guido Burgstaller ran 12.74 km - the farthest of anyone on the pitch.
