FC Gelsenkirchen-Schalke 04 e.V. reported a total revenue of €106.7 million in the first two quarters of the 2021 fiscal year (€102.2 million in the first two quarters of 2020). Business operations were affected by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the ensuing restrictions, as well as relegation from the Bundesliga. Particular attention was paid to mitigating the effects on total revenue through cost-cutting measures, reduced working hours, and the halting of development and investment projects.

S04 to travel to Belek for their winter training camp

FC Schalke 04 will prepare for the second half of the season in the Turkish Riviera. Head coach Dimitrios Grammozis’ side will train for one week in Belek, from Monday 3rd January until Sunday 9th January. The plan is to play at least one friendly during their stay in southern Turkey.

Bernd Schröder to be new CEO of FC Schalke 04

As part of the strategic realignment of the club, the Supervisory Board of FC Schalke 04 has decided to change the board structure: The existing committee around Peter Knäbel (Sports) and Christina Rühl-Hamers (Finances, HR and Legal Affairs) will be expanded to include a CEO. This will come into effect on January 1, 2022. The CEO will be responsible for Strategy, Communication, Marketing and Sales.

Looking back positively on a window with 45 transfers
